Our one-bedroom suite is just five blocks from the University of Washington's north entrance. It's in a daylight basement (meaning most of the suite is above ground and the windows are full-length in a turn-of-the-century home). Tastefully decorated with hints of Italy, Spain, and Mexico. Luxurious queen bed with perfectly comfortable mattress. The piano in the basement needs some work but could be tuned if negotiated. The professionally designed backyard makes one feel like they are in Europe with Italian bricks, French bistro chairs, and a water feature that makes one forget they are in the city. It is located within walking distance to The Ave (officially named University Way) and the multitude of restaurants and coffee shops. The Ave is also a hub for local transportations being close to two light rail stations (UW 43rd and Roosevelt and 65th). Also within walking distance of University Village if you don't mind hiking back up! Trader Joe's and Whole Foods are 12-15 blocks away. Cowen and Ravenna parks are great for strolls or runs. Rent kayaks or paddleboards on Lake Washington or Lake Union then enjoy dinner at Agua Verde with a stunning sun set. The owners are an elementary school Spanish teacher and a UW biostatistics professor of 20 years who works jointly at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and helped bring the world the COVID-19 vaccines. ~900 sq feet TV/Cable/high-speed Internet All utilities included The washer and dryer unit is shared with us and is on the same floor as the apartment Full-sized fridge The stove/oven is a smaller size. It has a 3/4 bath (sink, toilet, shower, no tub). Microwave, espresso maker, every necessity you could need for the kitchen.
