Located in the prestigious Verdun’s Crawford Park neighborhood in Montréal, our Cape Cod (also called century or wartime) house has a huge garden where you can relax and even enjoy an outdoor shower after cycling on the riverbank pathway, just down the street. Ideal spot for a family, there is a playground for 1-12 years within a 5-minute walk. There are many French and English speaking primary and secondary schools in the neighbourhood. We’ve got 2 bedrooms on the second floor. The ground floor is an open space with a kitchen, a dining room and a living room. It is large and can welcome many guests. There are 2 bathrooms in our house. Our home is especially well suited for families, with toys, books, and outdoor play space in the backyards. Whether you're looking for an active lifestyle, a cultural getaway, or simply a comfortable place to experience Montréal life, you'll feel right at home here. You will find all you need 10 minutes away by bike or by car. Wellington street is pedestrian friendly during summertime and has a lot to offer: restaurants, bars, shops, many supermarkets and plenty of cafés. We love our neighbourhood because it is quiet even if we are 15 minutes away from downtown Montreal. We enjoy our daily stroll or run on the riverbank. The riverbank cycle path can lead you anywhere close to the St-Lawrence river: downtown, the south shore through Notre-Dame or Nun's Island and even the West Island. We’ve got two adult bikes, 1 kid bike, 2 toddler’s bikes, and helmets for you to use. We also have one baby bike seat if you need one. Our two cargo bikes and plug-in hybrid car could also be part of the exchange. There are 3 protected provincial parks that are 30 minutes to 1 hour from us: St-Bruno, îles de Boucherville, and Oka. They have plenty of activities to offer year round. You may enjoy a daily stroll or run on the riverbank which is only a few steps away. The closest subways (metros) are Jolicoeur (7 min by bike) or Monk and De l’église stations (7 min bus ride) both on the green metro line. There are many convenience stores, a café, a market, the public library and a pharmacy within walking distance. Wellington street is very lively and has excellent restaurants and bakeries.
