The neatly furnished apartment, which underwent a total renovation to kitchen and bath in 2021, is in a 1910 building with access to the Métro Rue des Boulets (#9) and Métro Nation (#1, 2, 6, 9, RER A). Close to home in this hip non-touristic neighborhood you will find every convenience steps away: multiple open-air greenmarkets, groceries, specialty cheese and wine stores, butchers, bakeries, bike stations, post offices, clothing, stationary, and hardware stores. The neighborhood is known for its restaurants. The apartment is 53 square meters on the fifth floor of an elevator building. It is very sunny, faces south-south-east with double-insulated windows, an eat-in kitchen, a dishwasher and washer-dryer,  two comfortable bedrooms at 13 square meters each, a lovely living/dining room with a table for 6 people, a renovated American-style bathroom, refinished parquet floors, handsome crown mouldings, wireless internet, digicode entry, and a live-in concierge. Two built-in workspaces with desks, bookshelves, and books render it ideal for scholars and writers.  All utilities are included in the rent, which also includes local telephone access, except for calls to cellphones and some countries. Our beloved housekeeper cleans the apartment once a week (50 € per visit, not included in the rent) and will do laundry and ironing for an extra charge.
