It is located in the back part of a home in the residential Beverlywood area, on Los Angeles' westside, You enter through a locked door in a tall, solid driveway gate and reach the unit along a paved, well-lit path. There is also a light over the gate and a motion light in the driveway for when you come and go at night. All of which provides a very safe, secure environment. The thoughtfully-designed unit offers a very efficient layout. There is a full-size closet with shelves in addition to loads of cabinet space with pull-out containers for smaller items. There is also a built-in desk/work area. The living area has a very comfortable loveseat-size couch facing a new, 55" TV, which can be pulled away from the wall and turned to face the bed. There is a pull-out footstool that can also be used for seating while working at the desk area below the TV. The kitchenette includes a four-burner rangetop, an over-the-counter microwave/convection oven, a counter-top toaster-oven/air fryer, an apartment-size refrigerator, a garbage disposal, a coffee maker and a compact, all-in-one high-efficiency washer/dryer unit. There is a small trestle table for two with sides that can fold up for more space. The kitchen comes stocked with dishware, utensils, pots, pans, food storage containers, some basic cooking supplies, cleaning materials and more. The bathroom has plenty of storage under the sink, in a small cabinet and on a shelf unit under the window. The bed is a full, which is just slightly smaller than a queen -- something to consider if you require a large bed. Outside, there is shaded seating at a table under an umbrella and a ficus tree in the back part of your own yard. There is also a small bistro set on the deck just outside the front door, along with an adjustable lounge chair on the patio, providing you with multiple options to work or relax in privacy outside of the unit. The property has attractive patio lighting during the night. You'll find the private yard a peaceful, personal environment to just relax, and comfortably enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. The cottage comes with high-speed Internet, HD antenna connection to local broadcast channels, along with a 55" smart TV and a Roku unit, allowing you to stream any other services you may use. A guest pass to Netflix is available. There is a remote-controlled AC/heating unit mounted high on the wall. Parking is on a residential street comprised of all single-family homes. Situated just west of Robertson Blvd and north of National Blvd, in the Beverlywood residential neighborhood, the unit is just around the corner from a number of local retailers along South Robertson (SoRo). It also sits just one mile from the desirable downtown Culver City area, with many great restaurant choices, brand new office projects housing some of the leading tech and entertainment firms, and the Culver City station for L.A.'s Metro Expo line, which can take you west to Santa Monica or east to the main Metro connector in downtown Los Angeles. The property's central location puts you roughly two miles south of Beverly Hills, six miles east of Santa Monica and 10 miles west of downtown Los Angeles.
