Our recently renovated and fully-furnished home in Corvallis, Oregon is perfect for sabbaticals and extended stays of 1 month (30 days) minimum to a maximum of 7 months (e.g., OSU summer and fall terms, June-Dec or fall and winter terms, Sept-Mar). Collaborate with colleagues at Oregon State University. Spend a few months in Oregon exploring nearby areas to relocate to. Or, have a comfortable place to stay while house-hunting in the central Willamette Valley. All you need to bring are your own clothes and toiletries. Our house is a small vintage 1962 detached, single-level, single-family home with a large fenced yard. It is most comfortable for four adults or a small family. The house was updated significantly in the summer of 2022 and has a new kitchen and two new bathrooms. The large primary bedroom has a king bed, two closets, an en-suite bathroom with a stall shower, and sliding door access to a new deck. The other two bedrooms have queen and full beds and share a hall bathroom with a tub shower. In addition, there is an eat-in kitchen, a cozy living room, a family room with a TV-watching area and office space, a covered patio, and a single-car garage with a washer/dryer and a workbench. It is a single-level house but has a raised foundation so there are two steps up to the front door, garage door, and back patio and door. We have a yard maintenance service for lawn mowing and shrub pruning. Tenants in the summer will need to do some shrub and tree watering and fall tenants will need to winterize the hoses and outside water spigots. Our neighborhood is modest and friendly and also very convenient to shopping, schools, the aquatic center, a hospital and medical offices, and downtown Corvallis.
