Modern Architect-designed home with large garden in walkable neighborhood.

Description

We are both architects and professors on sabbatical looking to share our new home while we travel with our family. The house was completed in 2021, completely rebuilt with all new appliances, fixtures and finishes. It is a very comfortable home to live and work in with radiant heating, high speed internet, a lovely big garden in a very walkable neighborhood. The downstairs includes a large open living / kitchen space that fully opens onto the back garden, a bathroom with rainshower and a playroom/guest room with pull-out couch that sleeps 2 adults. There is a TV in the playroom and a pull-down screen and projector in the main living/kitchen room. The garden is irrigated and on a pre-programmed system so it will maintain itself. The yard includes a deck with table and chairs to seat 8-10 adults and kids picnic table for 4 kids. There is a large native grassy area for playing with flower beds around the perimeter. We have a rope swing, two hammocks and a hanging child's cocoon swing in the backyard as well as a soccer goal for lots of fun outside at home. Upstairs includes two large bedrooms (one with a new queen sized bed, and one with two new twin sized beds), laundry (washer and dryer) and linen closet, full bathroom with tub and two sinks, and a very large office / art studio with a lush balcony that runs the full width of the street front of the house. We are happy to share our home for all or part of the time listed while we travel during our sabbatical. Email with questions. There is no landline phone service - cell service not included.
