Owner of a beautifully renovated first floor apartment in a great Cambridge neighborhood is looking for a house/cat sitter for the winter months of December, January and February 2022/2023. Located in North Cambridge just a 5 minute walk to the Davis T station, this is an awesome neighborhood. It's quiet yet conveniently located to shops, restaurants and many of the University's. I am looking for a responsible, caring and tidy person that would enjoy living and caring for my home and cats while I'm away. Two shy 8 year old sisters will need to be fed, loved and kept company for the winter. They are outdoor cats and come and go on their own through their cat door in the mudroom. As well as caring for the cats, house sitting tasks include, watering house plants, taking in mail and making sure all runs smoothly on the property. The apartment gets lots of natural light and is well insulated. There is an open floor plan for the kitchen and dining room. The kitchen is complete with marble counter tops, a 5 burner gas stove and island with a sink/dishwasher. Lots of open shelving and cabinet space make for a spacious kitchen. One bedroom with a queen bed and double closets. The bathroom has a large tub and radiant heated floors. The living is sunny and bright and sits facing the street. There are views of a lovely garden in back and lots of trees along the street. There is off street parking that is shared with a Harvard graduate student living on the second floor.
