Your room comes with new furniture, a new bed and memory foam mattress, and comfortable sitting and working spaces. The room gets great light, has lots of closet and storage space, and includes a new smart TV with Firestick and high-speed internet. The rental includes a private bath with spacious tiled shower, additional hallway storage, and a small hallway kitchenette with microwave, mini-fridge, and coffee-maker. All new bedding and linens provided. Heat and central A/C, high-speed internet, and all other utilities included with a monthly rent of $1000. Rent the whole floor for a total of $1350/month and add a furnished or empty living room or study. Two months deposit required and a three-month minimum stay preferred (longer-term tenancy welcome). I have no pets so you can easily bring yours (a small deposit may apply). You will have full-use of a well-stocked, renovated first-floor kitchen with new appliances and laundry; formal dining room; first floor bathroom; outdoor porch and patio for sitting or entertaining; fenced-yard with southern exposure, and a slow-growing garden (gardeners welcome!), as well as a dry basement for extra storage or a bicycle. Parking is easy and most area hospitals are only a quick commute by car or bus. One of the city’s large green spaces, Highland Park, is less than a mile from the house, and museums, cultural centers, and universities are all within a few miles.
