Linens and all kitchen equipment included. For self-cleaning, a Roomba (a robot, automatic dirt-disposal vac), with landlord demo, if needed. The deck, with cafe table and chairs, settee and potted plants, overlooks a garden with bees, butterflies, acrobatic squirrels and fruit trees. Tenants love the easy indoor-outdoor access. Inner gate with coded lock. Walk 15-20 mins. to Elmwood shops, bakeries, restaurants, bank, post office, public library, groceries and theater. Nearby: Alameda County (AC) buses connect to Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART). Also near: hiking hills and running track with stunning bay views, UCB’s football stadium, soccer and rugby fields. Safe and quiet neighborhood enforced by city noise ordinances. On-street parking obtainable with city permit. My house/office, on the same parcel as the cottage but separated for privacy by a second gate, allows easy access to me for local information or emergency help.
