Location: This is a large two bedroom condo furnished apartment in a very safe neighborhood in Brookline, near the Longwood Medical Area. There are several parks nearby within walking distance. There is also a small neighborhood grocery store just 2 mins walk from the condo building, which is very convenient if you run out of things and need to buy them urgently. The nearest T stop, Brookline Hills, is about a 7-10 minute walk from the apartment. It's only a few minutes train ride to get to downtown Boston, for e.g., it's 9 mins ride to Kenmore Square. If you enjoy walking, the apartment is also located within easy walking distance to Brookline Village and Coolidge Corner (20-25 mins walk). I walk there all the time for grocery shopping at Trader Joe's and Stop and Shop. Interior: The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed and a large walk-in closet. The second bedroom has a twin-sized bed with a brand new mattress and ample closet space. The living room is spacious and the area receives natural light from two large windows. There is a view of the Prudential building from one of the windows (apartment is on the highest level of the building - 6th floor). And the other window overlooks trees - it is common to see bluejays in the trees during good weather. Condo facilities: There are laundry machines (washer and dryer) on every floor of this six-floor building. If the machine on your floor is being used, you are permitted to use the machines on the other floors. There are two elevators that stop on every floor. The building has concierge service. There is an outdoor swimming pool that can be used during the summer. Dedicated parking: This apartment comes with an indoor parking spot in a covered garage. The apartment is leased out directly by myself, the owner (so no broker fees). The start and end dates are also negotiable, but we prefer someone who can commit to a minimum stay of 9 to 10 months (e.g. an academic year).
