Private Apartment in Historic Brownstone

I had the pleasure of renting from Vanda for a few months this year and I she was fantastic as a "landlord.” She is responsive, communicative, thoughtful, and goes out of her way to make sure you are comfortable and have what you need. The process of renting from her could not have been easier, and she was so nice and friendly that we became friends. Highly recommend!

A whole floor of a landmark brownstone on a landmark street right next to the oldest mansiion in NYC fifty yards from the subway, it has been beautifully remodeled. Period wood accents everywhere, remarkable bathroom with steam shower, and a beautiful patio right outside. The host met me when I needed to meet, and I had to leave right away so she left instructions and a bottle of wine. the neighborhood is vibrant and full of restaurants and shops.Absolutely a great place I would stay at again. -Joe

We had a wonderful stay at Vanda's place. She was always welcoming and very helpful. The place is beautiful, very clean, and quite. The neighborhood is nice and has lots of restorants, pubs, and coffee places. Geat location, very close to two subway stations, supermarkets, and post office.

I feel very lucky to have found and stayed in Vanda's apartment. It is comfortable, has all the things you need to live there short- or long-term, locates in a quiet street and minutes from the subway station and supermarkets. It was a wonder to see the trees in the garden of the Mansion (a quiet museum of historical significance) opposite the street changed from winter to spring, and a pleasure to greet the squirrel who visited the plants outside the window from time to time. Vanda is very kind and helpful. All in all, a safe, comfortable, convenient and dreamed place to stay for visitors.
