My partner (now emeritus) and I have owned it for over 40 years, but have lived elsewhere and overseas for much of that time. In retirement we are dividing our time between Sydney and London so are looking to rent the flat to careful, appreciative Sydney visitors for the periods in-between. It is incredibly well-located for public transport (eg to Sydney's beaches or Circular Quay as well as to the universities or the business district) and just a block from the splendid National Art School on the historic site of the old Darlinghurst Gaol. The apartment is within easy walking distance of many Sydney attractions, museums and galleries and easy public transport reach of most. Darlinghurst itself is a lively area well provided with cafes, bars and restaurants of all kinds. Both bedrooms are of reasonable size with fitted wardrobes and plenty of storage. There are new good quality mattresses on both beds, the kitchen is well-equipped and the apartment has been freshly painted.
