The house is a large, three-story home with lots of windows, hardwood floors, two front porches, and a backyard area. AVAILABLE JUNE 1 *the space may be minimally furnished for this summer/2-3 month stay. (bed, ~desk, ~chair, lamps, curtains, etc. This may be discussed per a specific situation The rental is for one unfurnished bedroom and is available for one person only. The rent includes Wi-Fi, utilities, and shared-use house supplies. We are in the Tufts Medford area with neighborhood shortcuts to campus or the new GreenLineT for easy access to Boston. The MBTA #93 Bus to Harvard Square is ~50 yards away and goes through Davis & Porter Square to the RedLineT to Cambridge/Boston and to all other MBTA lines. The house is within walking distance of Medford's three main areas for coffee shops, restaurants, CVS, banking, post office, etc. It is also within walking distance of Whole Foods and a few smaller convenience grocers. Somerville is a ~15-minute walk. I also rent a bedroom on the third floor (currently rented to a Tufts professor). The bedroom listed here is a large sunny room on the second floor. Also, I live in the house with my dog, Stella. Stella is a four-year-old deaf Boxer. She loves people. She will mostly ignore you if you ignore her, and she sticks close to me. She is deaf, so keeping the front gate closed and conscious of her safety is essential. She's fairly easygoing :-) The bedroom is unfurnished, but the home is fully furnished. This is best for someone without their home furnishings. The basement has minimal storage and is not a "dry" storage area. There is a washer and dryer in the house. There is on-street parking, and no resident sticker is currently required. The house has a backyard and two porches. Yard cleanup is done a few times yearly, and we have snow removal services. There is one larger AC unit downstairs. Individual AC window units are not provided. The house is pretty comfortable year-round, with many windows, porch doors, etc., but there isn't central air.
