Bright, Comfortable View Flat between Canal and Buttes Chaumont

We felt lucky to stay for two months in this apartment from J and D. Bright, spacey and very convenient. Luxery kithchen and 2 bathrooms. Easy to recieve our sons for a couple of nights. The two double beds are very comfortable. In the evening we sipped our wine at the balcony with a view at the Sacre Ceour. We could easily store our bicycles in the parking garage under the building. The neighborhood is friendly and trendy and during the summer there is a free swimming pool at the Basin de la Villette. J. and D. are kind and friendly people to communicatie with. We hope to come back!

A perch with spectacular views. The panorama off one balcony (where two can dine) stretches from the Eiffel Tower to Butte Chaumont. From the other? The sunset over Sacré Coeur. A modern, light-flooded space—huge kitchen, living/dining, and mattresses that won’t leave you homesick. Water pressure and internet aren’t shabby either. Get to know neighbors and commerçants in this area preserved from relentless gentrification and mass tourism. All basics walkable—try the fromagerie on rue de Crimée before a picnic on the Canal or in la Villette. For researchers, direct metro to Arsenal and La Courneuve (one transfer to Mitterrand). Our regular, friendly, and humorous exchanges with Daniel made us feel instantly at home. Can’t wait to stay again!
