Description

We are renting out our lovely, sun-filled, 2-storey home from December 29 until March 1, though the dates are flexible. It's ideally located, just half a block north of beautiful Monarch Park on a quiet, tree-lined, residential street. It's just a block-and-a-half south of Danforth, with it's wonderful restaurants and shopping, as well as grocery stores, a Shoppers Drug Mart and even a library. It's a quick, 8-minute walk to the Greenwood subway station, and 15-minutes on the subway takes you to Bloor and Yonge, the heart of the city. Two stops after that brings you to the University of Toronto. Entering from the front foyer, you come to a room that houses the TV and a quality sound system (with which you're welcome to play cds and records from an extensive classical and jazz collection). Beyond that is a spacious, cheerful, newly built kitchen. From the cozy breakfast nook at the far end, you can look out through a beautiful, wall-to-wall window onto the back garden. A powder room is discreetly tucked behind a wall next to the side door. The dining room has a piano available, for anyone who is so inclined, and a separate living room is found through the archway. The bedroom is upstairs, as well as a cheerful and bright room that can double as a kitchen but, with a full-size desk by the window, may want to use as a cozy office workspace. The beautifully renovated, full bathroom is fitted with a Toto Washlet and luxurious rainfall shower head. You'll find a washer and dryer in the basement, as well as an exercise bike. The front porch is a lovely place to sit in the summer or fall, and the backyard is equipped with a barbeque, table and chairs.
