We are a semi retired academic couple living in a house with several outbuildings, one of which is a newly converted disabled friendly coachhouse which is beautifully appointed with all new fittings yet retaining the charm of the original building. The large open plan main living area has high ceilings with skylights throughout and is very airy and light. There are wide plank oak floors with underfloor heating. There is a separate dining area and kitchenette with all modern appliances. The main bedroom with a large ensuite shower room is similarly spacious and light and has its own small private enclosed terrace garden. The small second bedroom looks out onto another private sitting area and has a charmingly fitted shower/bathroom of its own. Beyond this is a small home office with a separate entrance used by the owner from time to time. Newly seeded with wildflowers there is a beautiful walled garden with a sunny private seating area. The coachhouse shares external walls with a greenhouse and the home office but is not overlooked in anyway. The area is rural with many lovely walks with sheep and horses in the adjacent fields, but there is easy access to Cambridge and Newmarket by car and a train station 3 miles away.
