One bedroom and shared living room, kitchen and bathroom in a beautiful, very bright 2-bedroom apartment, 1076 square feet (100m²), fully furnished, within sight of the river Spree in Berlin-Mitte/Moabit, at the border of Hansaviertel/ Tiergarten. 4th floor front building without elevator. High quality historical building with high ceilings (3,80 m) and old style wooden floor, in a very clean and quiet house. We have many paintings and art objects on the walls. The view over the roofs of the neighborhood is beautiful. Although the apartment is located in the city center, it has a very quiet ambiance with no street noise. In the bedroom you find a king-size bed (140x200 cm), a loft bed on a wooden white mezzanine (Futon 200x140 cm), a wardrobe and a balcony heading south, where you look on the river. In the living room you find a spacious dining table, a couch, a library and an analogue HIFI set. The Yamaha upright piano is both acoustic and digital, so playing at night is possible with headphones. The features of the kitchen : 5-burner gas stove, electric stove and oven, a 4-6 people kitchen table with chairs, a large fridge-freezer, marble worktops, washing machine and dishwasher, pantry, storage room. Bathroom with mosaic tiles, bathtub, floor heating. Every room with insulated original wooden windows and view into the sky, lots of original stucco. The apartment is rented out as furnished in the photos. Living room, kitchen and bathroom will be shared with me, but due to work and family in France I will only be present Mondays and Tuesdays. Internet via WiFi / WLAN is included. The apartment is located in the quiet and clean Hansaviertel (northern Tiergarten), next to the river Spree, with many architecturally interesting buildings. We love the immediate neighborhood Moabit, there are nice cafés, bars, restaurants, art galleries. Good shopping facilities, as the Moabit Market Hall, health food store around the corner, and supermarkets. The banks of the Spree at the door, and at 10 min. walk the “Berlin Central Park” Tiergarten (for jogging, recreation), the Academie der Künste, the Siegessäule. The apartment is centrally located in Berlin-Mitte and has good connections: Metro station U9-Turmstrasse (3 min.), city train station S-Bellevue (8 min.). Berlin Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) and Reichstag / government district only one S-Bahn stop away. Schloss Bellevue, Technische Universität and Universität der Künste (Musik) are within walking distance (10-15 min.).
