Description
Fully-furnished studio apartment available on second story of a garage with its own entrance in back of a Victorian townhouse in lovely West End of Dupont Circle. It's two blocks from Dupont Circle metro, a few blocks from GW University, and about a mile to Georgetown University. Very walkable, very interesting part of the city, near all Smithsonian museums, White House, and Kennedy Center. Apartment is small but cozy with large sliding glass window overlooking a patio/garden which is available for your use. Bed is full-size, ideal for one person, but couples have also rented the apartment. it's a great place to study, write and have easy access to the Library of Congress and the National Archives as well as all the universities in the city. My husband and I live in the main house but you will not see us except to get our old Saab out on weekends. The kitchenette has a 5 cubic foot frig, two electric burners, and a microwave, suitable to preparing light meals. Two blocks away there are several dry cleaners which are convenient and take bulk laundry. I can arrange bi-monthly cleaning, if you wish.
