Our traditional 4 bed house with original inglenook fireplace is suitable for visiting academics, writers, artists or families. It has gardens front and back, and parking spaces. There are three double bedrooms, one with en-suite wet room, and a single/ child's room/ home office. Light and airy family bathroom with roll top bath and skylight. Downstairs are three reception rooms, one with piano and desk and plenty of books that you are welcome to read. Well equipped family kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher and large oven and hob. Within easy commuting distance of Cambridge or London ( with a scenic cycle pathway along the river Cam) the science park or the station with trains half hourly to Cambridge (10 minutes) or London Kings Cross 60 minutes), it is also close to the excellent primary school. Bikes available to borrow. With its wood burner (in addition to central heating) the house is cosy in the winter and can accommodate families or groups, with a kitchen table seating up to 10 people. There is a fast broadband connection. This is our family home, and is definitely 'lived in' but is full of charm and character and has hosted many a happy occasion over the years. We would like to find tenants for short or long term lets who will love it as we have done, as we move on to new adventures.
