This is an idyllic hillside retreat with stunning views of LA and a century-old oak tree that provides ample shade. Our location is not only centrally situated within the city, but also offers an abundance of greenery and wildlife. This lower-level unit is distinct from our main house, assuring your privacy. Still, as with any downstairs rental, occasional sounds of footsteps might be audible. We are a quiet couple without children, and we are on the lookout for like-minded tenants who cherish the tranquility of nature. An office space with an automated standing desk is provided for study or remote work. There is a washer and dryer located in one of the closets as well as an enormous amount of storage space (unpictured due to photo limit). There is also a completely private outdoor garden area with views of Poppy Peak that is included in this listing. Two options for parking: There is ample street parking available, however, there are many stairs from the street level. Alternatively, it's possible to navigate your vehicle to the rear of the house, where a parking spot can be arranged. However, please be aware that the road leading to the back of the house is narrow and somewhat uneven. If you are not familiar with LA, please note that traffic will vary a lot depending on the time of day and direction you are traveling!
