We have a very cozy house with several bedrooms and places to work and or/relax. The house has been very tastefully renovated with modern living in mind (hello AC!) and is filled with instruments, charming pieces of art and inviting furniture, giving it the best of both worlds: the ease of modern life and the comfort and charm of a cottage. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom on the second floor: one bedroom with queen; a second room with a double mattress loft bed and cinema projector + hammock underneath for watching movies and/or reading and relaxing; a third room with a double mattress futon bed, as well as desk and computer monitor for work. The third bedroom also functions perfectly well as an office when the futon bed is folded up. The last room on the second floor is a beautiful sun-filled office, perfect for work, crafting, or just some privacy. Lastly, there's the bathroom with a small tub and shower. The main floor of the house features a closed in porch with electric fireplace and pull out couch, a living room with a large comfortable couch and a gas fireplace, and an open concept kitchen+dining area. We have plenty of board games to enjoy while relaxing in the living room in front of the gas fire, as well as a record player and plenty of records. The kitchen is modern and well equipped, including gas stove, microwave, large fridge and freezer, instant pot, and dishwasher. It also includes a high-powered Blendtec blender for making smoothies, soups, etc., Barratza coffee grinder for those who like their coffee beans ground to perfection, pour over coffee maker and French press. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, oils, spices and everything else you might need to cook up a storm. The basement of the house has a laundry sink, washer and dryer, and ample space for yoga and/or exercising. The backyard of the house has a BBQ, table and chairs for 6 people, and hammock for lazing about in the sun. Lastly, there is a single-car garage behind the house for parking, storage, and easy access to the backyard. Please note that the garage door is fairly small, so it can be tricky to enter for inexperienced drivers or anyone with an extra large vehicle. Centrally located in the heart of mid-town Toronto (Dufferin and St Clair), Corso Italia is a family-friendly neighbourhood of hidden gems. There are several different styles of cuisine to be explored (Italian, Brazilian, Mexican, Bolivian, etc.), lots of locally owned shops and businesses, as well as beautiful Earlscourt park and J.J.P. Community centre just a few minutes walk away. Alive with history at every turn and welcoming to all, it's both a destination neighbourhood and a place to call home. If you'd like to venture out, the neighbourhood is well connected to the rest of the city by public transit via the streetcar along St. Clair. It's also a quick bike ride to the chic bars and restaurants on nearby Geary street, Dupont, and Bloor St. Corso Italia is very safe and walkable, and is easy to bike around. There's also 24hr public transit on St. Clair and Dufferin.
