We are a retired couple who want to share our newly finished home with others who love to travel. Our suite is suitable for singles or couples who want to experience living in a quiet walkable neighbourhood but still have access to many transit options to explore the city or visit local educational institutions. The suite is fully furnished and equipped with a full kitchen, private in-suite laundry, 55" TV and queen size bed (the couch does not pull out so the suite is most suitable for one or two people). The home was just finished in late 2023 so we are still working on the landscaping but plan to create a private sitting area for the suite with bistro seating. Our home is situated near the Lakewood Drive bike route, a safe and efficient way to get to many schools and services in our area. We are a 10-15 minute walk to many restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, rapid transit (10 minute Skytrain to downtown Vancouver or bus to UBC), and Trout Lake which offers walking trails and a community centre with a gym, fitness classes, tennis courts, ice rink and a farmer's market during the summer months. Lots more outdoor activities are only a 30 minute drive away to the North Shore mountains for skiing, hiking, snow-shoeing and mountain biking or to the ocean for paddle boarding, kayaking, beach volleyball or just lazing on the sand.
