Property Description Welcome to our pride and joy! This charming 1912 mill house is in the center of Historic, walkable Carrboro! You will have access to one master bedroom and bathroom, living room, versatile sunroom with dining table, an extra bathroom with tub and shower, eat-in kitchen, washer and dryer, and everything you'll need to be comfortable. The best part about this home is its proximity to everything in town. We live on the main street of town, with an easy walk to grocery, pharmacy, Food Coop, Farmers Market, restaurants, bars, art galleries, etc. We frequently walk to Chapel Hill and we're even on a bus line so you can catch a free bus to UNC Chapel Hill. Carrboro is part of the Triangle of North Carolina, which includes Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill as well as the Research Triangle Park. This single-story 1100 sq. ft. house has a couple of steps up to each of the covered porches into the house. The entire house and yard will be available to you, except for one bedroom, where we will store our personal belongings. The small kitchen is designed with functionality, fully equipped with a full-sized fridge, a dishwasher, drip coffee maker, a 24 4-burner stove, a microwave, toaster oven/air fryer, Insta-pot, Food processor, etc. for quick and easy meal preparation. All the necessary kitchen essentials, including plates, utensils, and pots/pans, are provided. There is a small table in the kitchen, and a larger glass table in the sunroom, to comfortably accommodate you and your guests. Indoor amenities include AC, ceiling fans, electric logs, reliable Wi-Fi, and fully stocked kitchen, and a small office desk. The 60 smart TV means you can stream from Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube, etc. with your own logins. (We currently do not have cable). You are welcome to play our piano, guitar, or mandolin, and listen to music via our Google nests. We have a card table and lots of games and puzzles for rainy days. With pinewood flooring and tiles throughout, the space exudes a cozy almost cabin-like ambience. Housekeeping service available upon request. The deck and porches offer spaces for those who appreciate the outdoors to unwind and soak up the sunshine with Cafe table, a gas grill area and clothesline. Whether you prefer the front or back area of the house, you can enjoy the fresh air and take in the surrounding beauty. We share a short, but somewhat steep gravel driveway with neighbors but have separate parking areas. Security lights around the house, and an alarm system makes for no worries. Please let us know what other questions you have. We love our home and are happy to be able to share it with you.
