Hi, we're Kate & John. We're offering Sabbatical Homes members a unique space in a safe, central neighbourhood. We've made every effort to ensure our home is a 'soft landing' if you're coming from overseas. • EVERYTHING is included in the house: furniture, appliances, bedding, kitchenware, even books and board games • Minimum rental period from 1 month. As convenient as AirBnB, at half the price. • Utilities stay in our name, so there's no extra admin signing on. (If you need to have a bill in your name, for local schools etc, we can discuss this) • Our property manager is just around the corner. She maintains the jacuzzi and garden, and can provide a cleaning service (for an extra cost) • There's even a well maintained hatchback available (please enquire) A bit about us. I'm a copywriter/brand strategist turned screenwriter. John's a TV/video producer. We're both away on our grown up gap year (mostly) in London. We'd love to find like-minded tenants to enjoy our beautiful, quirky home as much as we've done. Whether or not you're 'creative' as a job, you'll feel regularly inspired living here, and wake every morning feeling happy. While it's not suitable for little ones, older kids (aged 5+) love our Hobbit castle too. We like mid-century modern design, and will be leaving the house furnished (with appliances) so if you share this design aesthetic, it's a great choice. We have a very reliable hatchback, and would consider adding that to the tenancy if needed, otherwise we have storage for it elsewhere. It's a beautiful home in all seasons. There's an open fire, a Japanese style hot tub, and two new heat pumps installed for extra cosiness in winter. These switch to air conditioners in summer, if needed. There are also extensive decks to make the most of both sun and shade.
