Our mid-century home in historic Laurel Canyon is a 15 minute drive to the Sunset Strip but feels like it could be a house in the country. The incredible distant views and the presence of wildlife in the area may make you forget you are in the middle of the city. The spacious living room/dining room area takes advantage of the views and is a comfortable place for relaxing or eating. The cook’s kitchen includes high end appliances, custom cabinetry, and an island with seating. An adjacent den has comfortable seating for watching TV, a piano, and a desk area for working. The primary bedroom features a California king bed and has a wall of windows facing a green garden space, and the en suite bathroom includes two sinks and a double shower, and is also home to the washer and dryer. The second bedroom is furnished with a couch that converts to a queen size bed and an adjustable stand up desk. A guest bath with a shower is located across the hall. Skylights, large windows, and numerous sliding doors bring in tons of light and contribute to an indoor/outdoor feel. Access to the garage is not included, but street parking is plentiful in front of the house.
