Quiet sanctuary in the heart of Paris France

We are an academic family who live here part of the year and part of the year in Vancouver, Canada. This is our family home which we love very much. With 2 bedrooms, the master bedroom with a king sized bed and the second bedroom with a trundle that converts to a queen. There is a modern comfortable couch that also can convert into a queen if needed. Good sized kitchen with oven, stove, full-sized refrigerator, Nespresso machine, toaster, juicer and all the pots, pans, table wares needed. Walk in rain shower. New washer and dryer. We also have a crib, baby bath, and high chair available if needed. Radiant heat in each room and a portable air conditioner (though the apartment usually stays very cool due to its ground floor position). Building is secure and quiet with 2 coded doors to access the building. Smoking is permitted only on the patio but not within the apartment. Walking distance to Montmartre as well as many markets, wine shops, cheese shops, bistros and restaurants. Friday afternoons is the local open air market at Square Anvers with produce vendors, cheese purveyors, fish mongers, butchers, rotisserie and florists. The covered Marché Saint Quentin is only 3 blocks away and also has great food vendors. Easy access to the world-renowned flea markets at St Ouen/Clignancourt on the metro line 4 (4 stops). Our apartment is one block from Gare du Nord and only a few blocks from Gare de l'Est. Metro Barbés Rochechouart is one block away which is on the very convenient lines 2 and 4.
