About myself: I am a PhD scientist working on cancer drug development. I was born and raised in Turkey, migrated to U.S. 20 years ago for graduate school and have lived in Boston for the last 8 years. I like clean, quiet, and clutter-free living space. I enjoy biking, hiking, yoga, and reading in my free time. I am looking for a female tenant for the spare private bedroom/bathroom in my three-story house that I live in. The place is perfect for female professionals looking for private and safe space. This private bedroom/bathroom is on the lowest-level floor. It has a full-size window looking out to street and receives sunlight (has room darkening shades too). Bedroom has a private bathroom on the same floor. There are no other bedrooms rented in the house. The entrance is through the main front door of the house. The room is fully furnished (twin-size bed + beddings, working desk, built-in closet, reading chair). Additionally, small fridge w/freezer, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, kettle, mugs are provided on the same floor. The house is centrally located, one block from Watertown Square: -5 min walk to multiple bus lines. There is a Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, CVS (24 hr), UPS, Watertown public library, and many stores and restaurants in walking distance. Free street parking available from April 1 till the end of November. City does not allow overnight street parking during winter months in case of snowstorm emergencies (Dec-Mar). Therefore, the city provides overnight parking lots during winter. There is one in the next block (CVS parking lot on Main St). Free overnight street parking in this lot allowed from 7pm to 8am Mon-Sat, and it is free all day on Sundays. Public transportation options: 5 min walk to bus stop for: #70 (to Central square, MIT) #71 (to Harvard campus) 5-10 min walk to "Watertown Yard" bus stop: #504 (Express bus to Boston) Other bus lines: #57, 59, 52 Please check Google Maps for complete list of public transportation options and schedules from "Watertown Yard" bus stop. 15-20 min bus ride to Harvard campus 20-25 min bus ride to MIT campus 10 min bus ride to Arsenal Yards Shopping Mall, Target, BestBuy and many nice restaurants/shops 10 min walk to Charles River trail (scenic nature walk/run/bike) Restaurants/take-out within ~5-10 min walk: -Diner at 11 (breakfast/lunch) -Halva- Turkish (famous) -Tru Kitchen (lunch/dinner take out) -Super Fusion- Asian/Sushi -Demos- Greek (quick take-out) -Bar Cino- Italian -New Ginza- Japanese -Domino's Pizza -Subway Home Wi-Fi available. No smoking inside and exterior surroundings of the house (including front entrance, driveway, patio). No additional guests. The room is for single occupancy. No pets. No parties. Not child safe.
