I am a new member of sabbatical homes. I was a college psychologist working primarily with deaf and disabled students in California. I have recently moved back to New England and have been living on the Cape for the past three years. My Home is 90 minutes from Boston, 90 minutes from Newport, Rhode Island another beautiful island and in fact the island I grew up on, a bus ride to Amtrak in Boston for a quick trip to New York City. I have a two bedroom one and a half bath totally charming home in a quiet homeowners community . I have all the appliances you could ever need a Mounted large screen TV And of course, reliable Wi-Fi. There is also a gas burning stove in the living room, which I use for heat in the winter. There is a more formal dining area and also seating for two at a high countertop in the kitchen. There is a large backyard with tables, chairs, and umbrellas , it is still a little cool here so I have not put those out yet There is a clubhouse and an outdoor pool, a three minute walk from my home and of course being the Cape there were beaches galore, lakes, bogs, rivers whatever kind of water you like. I do have a car and it is negotiable. I prefer adults in my home and no smoking and no pets. Thank you.
