I am an ethnographic photographer with concentration. on peoples and cultures outside the mainstream Western civilization. I frequently travel to the Brazilian Amazon rainforest and want to sublet my place to a non smoking person or a couple with no pets while I am away. I can be flexible as for the time of arrival and departure. My studio apartment is located in a brown stone prewar walk up building in the best part of the Upper West Side 30 yards from the subway station between the Riverside Park and the Central Park at one block from the American Museum of Natural History. In this area you can find great nightlife and some of the best restaurants in Manhattan. Within walking distance you can find New York’s favorite stores, delicatessens and supermarkets such as Fairway, Zabar as well as convenience stores and a grocery markets open 24 hours.. It faces the back of the building so it is very quiet and very bright. It is a charming large studio with a nice private terrace furnished with a bistro table and folding chairs. The living space is furnished with Mod Mid Century furniture and fine Rajasthani art work. It has a 50" Smart TV, Blue Ray DVD player, and a Bluetooth Marshall stereo unit The futon unfolds to a comfortable full size bed. There is a separate kitchen with all the appliances and utensils.
