We are a retired professional couple who enjoy outdoor activities and catching up with family and friends. We enjoy meeting new people and would look forward to getting to know you over the occasional shared meal if that appeals to you. We are environmentally conscious and so have solar panels and battery and make use of the council’s recycling services. We are looking for a friendly, quiet, responsible couple (or single) who will care for the property and be respectful of neighbours. Also, that you understand that although the house is in a largely quiet area, it is inner city living and so there can be the inherent sounds of that (eg. construction, traffic, neighbours, etc). We are looking to rent out a room/house in our 3 bedroom house in a leafy cul-de-sac in Glebe for $700 per week with a 4 week bond required and all bills included in the price. The house is fully furnished and your bedroom is a spacious queen bedroom with built-in wardrobe and gorgeous elevated view. You also have exclusive use of a small bedroom with a single bed, built-in wardrobe and bookcase. If required, the bed can be removed and this room can be used as an additional study. There is an open office space, sitting room and private bathroom. Rooms are fully air-conditioned. There is a lovely outdoor courtyard with BBQ and laundry facilities under the house. We live out of Sydney most of the time but will come occasionally and stay in the third bedroom (which is in a separate area downstairs with its own bathroom). As we only visit Sydney relatively infrequently, you will mostly have the house to yourself. However when we visit, we would share the kitchen, dining and sitting room areas. For the right person/s this works really well. We previously had the one couple live with us in this way for 5 happy years. Easy walking access to: • Sydney University, University of Technology Sydney, The University of Notre Dame • Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Chris O’Brien Lifehouse • light rail, buses, cafes, restaurants and Pyrmont Fish Market. • parks, Blackwattle Bay, heated swimming pools and gyms This would suit a non-smoking, professional, couple or single.
