Newly built guest house on quiet, safe street

We are soon-to- be retired yoga teachers who have run our own studio in Los Angeles for over 30 years. The guest house was just recently built with all new appliances. It's situated in a lushly planted backyard with an unheated pool. (Pool privileges to be negotiated.) Backyard is gated with push button combination lock. Free parking in driveway. Great coffee house just around the corner. A half block from bus stop, South Pasadena is a safe, quiet city of tree-lined streets and craftsman homes just north of downtown L.A. There are many good restaurants and a number of nearby grocery stores -- Ralph's, Aldi's, Trader Joe's -- as well as a weekly farmer's market. It has its own Metro station, allowing easy access to other parts of L.A. We're close to the Huntington Gardens and Old Town Pasadena.
