We are a retired couple (UBC prof and secondary school teacher) who spend the summer at our cabin on Denman Island. We would like someone to enjoy our comfortable, charming and well used Vancouver home and lovely garden (an oasis) while we are away. Our house reflects our background (English and French), our travels, and our activist (feminist and environmentalist) interests. We have long-term tenants in the lower level (a quiet couple) and a small laneway conversion where we can stay if we need to be in Vancouver. We invite you to take advantage of this opportunity to explore Vancouver and beautiful B.C. The house has three bedrooms upstairs: one with a queen -sized bed and a mountain view from the balcony, one set up as an office with a single bed, and one with a double bed and a large sunny deck overlooking the garden. The main floor has a spacious, well equipped kitchen opening onto a deck equipped with a barbecue. There is one full bathroom and laundry facility upstairs, another half bathroom on the main floor.The dining room can seat 8 people, and there is a separate area with a piano and writing table., The comfortable sitting room provides TV and relaxation.
