Sunny and large three-bedroom apartment available for the coming academic year in Brookline. We are a seven-minute walk from public transportation (C and B of Green Line aboveground trolley) an an easy commute to many area universities as well as Longwood Medical Area. A highlight of the Washington Square area is its walkability. Whole Foods is seven minutes walking up the street. We are a close walk to two great cafes (Athan's and Cafe Fixe) as well as many fantastic restaurants and bars like Publick House and Bar Vlaha. Proximity and access to leading public schools are the top feature. This is honestly why people move to Brookline. Our older child attends Driscoll School and we can help with the paperwork to have any child who lives her during a yearlong sublet get enrolled (you will be automatically districted for Driscoll by living here). Driscoll is a five minute walk away, a true luxury of living here. We can also advise on daycare and babysitting options in the area. The apartment has a very quiet back master bedroom as well as an internal bedroom perfect for a kid or kids. The third bedroom we use as a small office and there is also a daybed in there which could work for a child or as a guestroom, There is a large and sunny living room, as well as a large eat-in kitchen. The little front garden comes with the apartment. It is not large but it is fenced in and my kids like playing out there when weather allows. There is a ton of closet space. We will leave as much furniture as you like, while clearing out items like the baby/toddler crib if it is not relevant to your family. The upsides of the apartment are it is always sunny, even in gloomy Boston, the walkability and school district and lovely quiet neighbors. The potential downsides are that the laundry is not in-unit, it is downstairs in the building but you have to go outside to get there. Another is that the kitchen has new appliances (fridge and dish washer) but hasn't been renovated for a while and there is only one bathroom in the whole large place. (Trying to be transparent here!)
