It is located a short walk from the Parkside entrace of Prospect Park, with access to excellent dining and grocery options. Our apartment is remarkably large for New York City: about 1,000 sq feet, with two bedrooms (one set up as an office), one bathroom, a dine-in kitchen, a dining room table in the large living room, two great work spaces for those who work from home, and lots of closet space. It is officially a two-bedroom, but we have the second bedroom set up as an study. The room is equipped with a loveseat with a pullout twin bed, so the apartment can easily accommodate guests. The apartment is full of books on literature, poetry, philosophy, history, and politics--the libraries of a professor of literature and a postdoc in political theory. There is easy access to public transportation with nearby subway stations, including the Q, B, and 2/5 lines, for a quick commute to Manhattan and other parts of Brooklyn. Rent includes all utilities, and there are 2 A/C units in the apartment for your use in the summer months.
