Sunny, Furnished Third-Floor Suite Near Tufts I am offering a large, sunny, fully furnished three-room suite on the third floor of my single-family home in the Tufts/Medford neighborhood. The second floor is shared with me, my friendly deaf Boxer, Stella, and one other roommate. The suite is available for one person only. Rent includes all utilities, Wi-Fi, and shared household supplies. The suite is furnished, although furnishings may vary slightly from the photos. Current photos, FaceTime tours, or in-person visits are welcome. Bedding, towels, kitchenware, dishes, and cookware can be provided for guests relocating from overseas. The house is bright and comfortable, with hardwood floors, two front porches, a backyard, free laundry, and window air conditioning for the suite. While there is no central air, the house has excellent natural ventilation and remains comfortable for most of the year. The location is ideal for visiting faculty, researchers, graduate students, or professionals. Walk to Tufts University, the MBTA Green Line, and buses to Harvard Square, Cambridge, MIT, Boston, and the commuter rail. Whole Foods, cafés, restaurants, banking, CVS, and Medford's neighborhood centers are all within walking distance. Interstate 93 is less than a mile away. One of the neighborhood's biggest advantages is ample free street parking with no resident permit currently required—a rare convenience this close to Tufts and public transportation. About Stella: Stella is my six-year-old deaf Boxer. She's friendly, gentle, and usually keeps to herself if you do the same. Her safety is very important to me, so keeping the front gate closed is essential. There is a gate that keeps her from going upstairs to the third-floor suite. The home is fully furnished, so it is best suited for someone who does not have extensive furniture to move. Basement storage is limited. I'm looking for a friendly, considerate tenant who is seeking a comfortable long-term home (one year or more preferred). Shorter stays may be possible, with pricing adjusted depending on the length of stay.
