The suite is garden level with nine foot ceilings, and has its own private patio, which is surrounded by a lush garden in the summertime and early fall. Unbeatable location, just off “The Drive,” with its copious cafes, independent grocery stores, and the best coffee roasters in the city. Time Out recently rated "The Drive" as the 5th coolest street in the World, ahead of any other North American streets. It is also close to central bike paths and public transportation, and several local brewery tasting rooms. Full kitchen with dishwasher, and large full bathroom. Please note, one bedroom has a queen-sized bed and the other has a stylish twin daybed, so it can also be used as a bedroom for a single person, or an office/guest room with a chaise for another living/office space. There is a desk and chair in the main bedroom as well, and an Ikea Billy bookshelf for books in the hallway. There are three closets, one in each bedroom, and a large one in the hallway. The main bedroom also has a large dresser for clothes. The current tenants have a tv, so there is room for a tv, and I am happy to add one after they leave. Utilities and wifi are included and there is free, shared laundry, and free street parking. Though I say 2 people, it could also work for a couple with a child. It is available Sept. 1st or 15th for 6 or 7 months, with some flexibility, and I am open to long-term after that. No parties, no pets, and no smoking or vaping anywhere on the property. Landlord references, and tenant insurance for longer rental, are required.

Comments: The suite is in a 100 year old craftsman house whose foundations were raised to create the airy space of the garden suite. There are stone steps from the street up to the house, but that is all the stairs.

Comments: Vibrant, heterogeneous neighbourhood with great restaurants and shops within walking distance (2 min). 15 min from downtown campuses, and this is the closest real neighbourhood to SFU Burnaby
