Oxford home away from home with friendly neighbours and easy access to city

We live in a small semi-detached 1930s house with a garden, two bedrooms (1 shared by two kids) one bathroom, one very small kitchen, and a comfortable 2-room living area downstairs. It is a cozy home for a family of 4. The house has central heating (gas boiler) and our charming wood-burner downstairs is able to push temperatures above 20°C even in the coldest winter months. In addition, there is a small study on the 1st floor. The kitchen is small, but we've been able to feed and host guest parties of 12+. The house is fully furnished with a piano downstairs for the musically minded family members or guests. We have a washer-dryer to properly dry clothes even in the winter months, of which there are several in Oxford. Most of the time, we take the bikes which gets us to the city center within 10 minutes. With the bus, we're in the city center in about 15 minutes or we take a 30-minute stroll through green spaces. Arrangements can be made to use our car. It's a short walk to the local schools, parks, barbers, shops and take-out places. We are very happy here. PS: There are several ways to commute to London and many of our colleagues do this. From ours, it's easy to get to the relevant bus and train stations.
