I am offering my fully furnished two-bedroom apartment for a 36-day stay while I am travelling in Japan. The apartment is located in a newly built development in Wood Street, Walthamstow, East London. I moved into the property in December 2024 and am the first resident, so everything—from the kitchen and bathrooms to the appliances and furnishings—is relatively new. The flat has a bright open-plan living space, a fully equipped kitchen, high-speed broadband, dishwasher, washer-dryer, bath and shower, and a private balcony with far-reaching views across London. The balcony is one of my favourite features of the apartment, offering spectacular sunsets and views across North and East London and towards the City skyline. The main bedroom contains a double bed, while the second bedroom has adult-sized bunk beds, making the apartment suitable for a couple, friends sharing, a visiting family, or someone who would like a separate room for guests or work. Wood Street station is around a five-minute walk away, providing easy access to central London and the wider city. The neighbourhood has a distinctive local character, with independent cafés, bakeries, restaurants and shops on the doorstep, while nearby green spaces include Epping Forest, Hollow Ponds and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. This is my home rather than a dedicated rental property, and I am looking for someone who will enjoy and care for it during their stay. It would be particularly well suited to a visiting academic, researcher, artist, writer or professional seeking a comfortable and well-connected London base. The apartment is available for a single 36-day stay while I am away. All bills, utilities and high-speed internet are included.
