This has been our home for 20 years — the house where we raised our two kids, now 15 and 13 . It's been updated a lot in the past few years, so it's in great shape to be a rental as we now move to Spain. placed in the heart of Silver Lake. We spend most of our time in the main living space and the kitchen. I'm a chef, so the kitchen is genuinely well equipped — a real pleasure for anyone who likes to cook, whether it's a weeknight dinner or having friends over. There's a dishwasher and a washer/dryer too, so daily life runs easily. The primary bedroom sits under a vaulted ceiling with windows on three sides and a closet that genuinely fits everything. The two other bedrooms — our kids' rooms — each have a desk and good closet space; one has a full-size bed, the other a trundle. Both have western exposure with views of downtown LA, so they work well for guests, an office, or both. The main bathroom is upstairs, with a second toilet on the lower level. Outside, there's a deck with a hammock, a little bistro set for morning coffee, and a view toward the hills and downtown LA. The location makes daily life easy. Restaurants and coffee are a short walk, Target is just down the street, and the Reservoir is about a mile away. Downtown is nine minutes, Griffith Park about ten. We also have an EV charger and parking for two cars. Full disclosure: There will be a disturbance to our driveway, at some point in August or September, for 4-6 weeks. We are replacing the main sewer line for our HOA. It will not affect the homes, but the parking will be affected. Street parking is Available.
