I’m a television director and writer, originally from the U.S., and I work internationally, so travel has always been a big part of my life. I split my time between New York, London, and Spain, where I have a home in Sant Andreu de Llavaneres, a lovely village on the Maresme coast just north of Barcelona. I’m new to the house-exchange community, but I love the idea of staying in real homes rather than anonymous hotels, especially for longer stays. I’m careful, respectful, and house-proud, and would treat someone else’s home with the same care I give my own. I often travel with my daughter, son-in-law, and 7-year-old granddaughter, so we look for comfortable, family-friendly homes in walkable or well-connected areas. We are especially interested in exchanges in London, Paris, and Amsterdam. I’m looking forward to meeting like-minded people who value trust, good communication, and taking care of each other’s homes.
