Lovely family home in accessible neighborhood by UMD and CP Metro

I am a professor at the University of Maryland, going on sabbatical during the 2026-2027 academic year. Our large family home has a great location in the lovely Calvert Hills neighborhood--lots of trees, steps from a bike trail, many stores and restaurants in walking and biking distance, just 3 blocks from the College Park metro going directly to downtown DC, 15 minute walk to UMD campus. 20 minute walk from beautiful Lake Artemesia nature area. The first floor has a large enclosed porch/mudroom (with a couch), living room with fireplace and piano, dining room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, office. Second floor has two bedrooms (one with queen bed, one with futon) and bathroom. Basement has third bathroom and washer/dryer. Parking spots available in front and back driveways. Front yard and small backyard with patio. All utilities included (gas, electric, water, and high-speed internet). Note that the house is from 1928 and we have two active kids so the overall vibe is 'cozy family', not a magazine home. We love living in this house! Great neighbors, great surroundings, everything is walkable. CP metro station 5 minutes away makes it easy to get to DC on regular basis, but you wake up in the morning to birds chirping, and the occasional bunny (or fox) running through the yard. Many activities nearby: gyms, ice skating rink, tennis center, the Clarice Performing Arts Center at UMD which puts on lots of great music and theater throughout the year.
