We are two UW professors heading out on sabbatical and are looking for a couple or family of 4–5 who will enjoy and care for our cherished home. Our fully furnished home offers 4 bedrooms, an office, an additional office nook, and 3 bathrooms. The house is filled with natural light and beautiful views throughout. The comfortable living room features a working fireplace and unique mountain views through a bow window overlooking the front yard and the Olympics. The two upstairs bedrooms have stunning mountain views as well. A third bedroom is located in the fully finished basement, with private bathroom, and can function as a playroom, guest room, or office. It includes a sit/stand desk, monitor, and TV. In addition, there is a separate office with two desks and a monitor, plus another open workspace that is fully set up for remote work. This is an ideal home for working from home. One bathroom includes a bathtub, and the other two have comfortable shower spaces. The fully stocked kitchen and dining room open through French doors to a beautiful deck with charcoal and gas grills, as well as a terraced yard with gorgeous plantings, centennial conifers, and a fire pit. There is a driveway with parking for 2 cars, and free street parking. We are conveniently located near UW (2.5 miles) and Children’s Hospital (2 miles), both easily reached by bike or a 10-minute bus ride. Downtown is also quick and easy to access. We’re within walking distance of several parks and about 2 miles from Magnuson Park on the shore of Lake Washington. Our children grew up in this house and attended neighborhood schools, and the local public schools are excellent. A small, well-behaved pet negotiable.
