Furnished townhome near Petworth Metro available for academic year

I am going to the University of Michigan for a fellowship from August through April 2027 and looking for someone to rent my home in Petworth while I am gone. I am currently renovating the kitchen and adding a half-bathroom to the first floor, which is why I don't have better photos. I'll add those as soon as the work is done in a few weeks. It's a great house, with wood parquet floors, a spacious living and dining room, and two large bedrooms plus an office space upstairs that could also be used as a bedroom if desired. There is a cherry tree in the front yard and a back deck with a fire pit. The house is just a couple blocks from the Metro, a Safeway grocery store, plus several good restaurants and coffee shops. It's close to the Rock Creek Cemetery and the McMillan Reservoir for running or walking. The dining room has a Danish mid-century dining table that can be expanded with two leaves to seat eight or more people, and in the living room there is a 55-inch UHD television, a couch and multiple armchairs. The main bedroom has a split Tomorrow Sleep California king bed with remote-controlled elevation for your head and feet. The second bedroom has a queen bed with a Leesa mattress. Downstairs there is central air conditioning; every room upstairs has a ductless mini-split air conditioner. There is a Miele washer and dryer off the main bedroom. The house has reliable Verizon Fios internet. The outdoor space is shared with the woman who lives in the basement apartment. She has a separate entrance and is extremely considerate and unobtrusive. I've rented out my basement for years and can give references from tenants that I am a responsible and responsive landlord. My neighbors are very friendly and the block is very safe; someone will come tell you if you leave the lights on in your car. I've lived in the house for over a decade and been very happy here.
