Historic Four-Bedroom Home in London's Old East Village

We are taking a family sabbatical from January to July 2027 and looking for someone to enjoy and take care of our home while we are away. Our 2.5 storey home (1970 square feet) has a lovely covered front porch with couch, chairs, and ceiling fan as well as a nice sized and fully fenced backyard with shed for bike storage. The main floor consists of two living rooms with couches, a dining room with piano, and a kitchen. Upstairs there are two children's bedrooms (both with twin beds), a bedroom with a queen bed, and a full bathroom (the toilet and shower/tub are separated by a door). The spacious loft has a queen bed, sitting area, two skylights, and a semi-separated office area with two desks and a printer. The house is primarily heated by radiators and stays quite warm in the winter. There are three ductless splits (in two of the second floor bedrooms and in the loft area) that provide efficient air conditioning for the summer months. A washer and dryer are in the basement. If you have a car, there is space for parking in the driveway. If not, the neighbourhood is very central to London's core. Downtown is about a 30 minute walk or an easy bike ride. The house is also accessible to bus routes.
