We would be delighted to rent our 4 bedroom home to an academic/academic couple and their family. This is the first time we have rented out our home - hence no reviews yet! But we are sure you will love it. We are nestled in a peaceful and safe but well connected part of Melbourne, close to everything you could need during your sabbatical stay. The inner West is known as Melbourne's "hidden gem" as it is close to Victoria University, University of Melbourne, and CBD campuses without experiencing the issues often arising alongside high density living. It hosts an ecclectic and hugely friendly mix of residents from diverse backgrounds and is renowned for its multicultural arts and cuisine, festivals, markets as well as cafes, restaurants, parks and playgrounds. Our house is perfect for family life, and our neighbours are really helpful and friendly with day to day interactions. Your family will enjoy a large dining space and socialising area, which opens onto a leafy entertainment deck. You can enjoy quiet family time watching movies in a separate comfortable lounge room, fully equipped with new smart TV and space for a family of four to chill out together. The backyard studio is fully self contained and can be used as a bedroom or as a home study space. Alternatively one of the three inside bedrooms can be used as a study. Everything is set up, comfortable and ready for your sabbatical. Located close to public transport you will have no trouble accessing Melbourne's wonderful CBD, Parkville and local neighbourhoods. We are happy to negotiate the use of our car and a bicycle during your stay to make things even easier.
