Please read carefully. I live here and will be away for a few months, so this isn’t a typical Airbnb. I’m looking for one person who will care for my home as if it were their own. You’ll have the entire top floor with a completely separate entrance of an older Santa Monica home. The homeowners live downstairs, grew up here, and care deeply about their home. They have final approval following a brief interview. A small park is directly in front of the home, with the bedroom overlooking the park and windows offering views of the Malibu mountains. One block from Montana Ave and a short walk to the beach and downtown Santa Monica. The ocean is visible in the distance from the street in front of the home. Located north of Montana and west of 7th Street, this is one of Santa Monica’s most desirable areas. Wide streets, quiet surroundings, safety, walkability, and easy access to nature make this a truly special location. Shared backyard and laundry. Guest approval isn’t automatic. I’d rather leave the home vacant than rent it to the wrong person. This is an older home with a few quirks. Some outlets are more reliable than others, so high-power appliances (such as blow dryers) should be used only in the designated outlet. Many of my personal belongings will remain in the home while I’m away. While there’s nothing of significant value, I ask that everything be treated with the same care and respect you would your own home. Only the registered guest may stay overnight. Visitors require prior written approval from both the host and homeowners. Quiet hours begin at 10 PM. No smoking, pets, parties, or events.
