Stated price is for exclusive use of the entire home. Individual rooms can be rented separately for negotiated price. I divide my time between London and a place in the countryside, so the London base is often empty. You can rent by the room or the entire house. This special home was lovingly renovated and rebuilt by my partner and his now late father. It is full of life, colour, character and natural light. At the same time, it is comfortable and functional. There are 3 bedrooms: a single with views over the garden, a double with a high ceiling over the bed. Both of these rooms had new mattresses and pillows in July 2026. The bedroom at the front of the house contains a super kingsize bed and built in wardrobes. The two largest bedrooms have blackout blinds. All bedrooms have portable fans for the warmer weather. There is a shared bathroom with walk in shower. Downstairs you enter the property into the living room, a cosy space with a colourful wall mural. The next room is the colourful, dining room, which contains an upright piano for entertaining the 6 guests who can be seated for a meal. The long kitchen contains a large range of base and wall units, a miele hob and double oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, toaster and, of course in the UK, kettle for cups of tea. The fridge-freezer is in the hallway. Beyond the kitchen is a light, l-shaped, fairy light filled conservatory, containing comfortable seating and a further dining table. Beyond this is the small garden, boasting rose bushes, an elderberry tree and seating for 2 on the wooden decking. I'm sure you'll spot signs around the house that my partner is a yoga teacher, and you may see clues to his past life on the West End stage. We'll leave some yoga mats and blocks in the conservatory, feel free to roll them out and have some moments of calm. We have high speed broadband, which reaches all rooms. A mere 7 minute walk to Plaistow station with its choice of 3 tube lines, and less than half an hour walk to both West Ham and Stratford stations, travel is surprisingly quick. If you need to connect with nature beyond our little garden, West Ham and Stratford parks are a close distance away, with mature trees, tennis courts and outdoor gym equipment. If you are feeling sportier, there is a gym just beyond Plaistow station, and Stratford boasts a number of sporting facilities such as the Olympic pool, and climbing wall. Feel free to join the weekly 5k park run from Wanstead flats, a short bus ride away. Retail therapy your thing? We're close to the Stratford Westfield shopping centre to cater for all your shopping and eating desires. Getting a flight? London city airport is a quick bus journey away. You can get coaches from Stratford station to London Stansted and Luton airports, and Heathrow and Gatwick are easy to reach by train. Forgotten the milk or need an apple after dark? The local Co-op supermarket is open 06:00-22:00 most days and is an 8 minute walk away. There are convenience stores even closer that are open later. There's a florist, hardware store, post office and pharmacy very close by, plus many barbers, nail bars, cafes, restaurants and even a couple of dry cleaning stores that also do clothes alterations.
