Our newly completed Maple Leaf apartment offers a peaceful, thoughtfully designed home base for extended stays in Seattle. Unlike a typical rental, the space has been professionally curated with quality furnishings, collected artwork, and a warm, modern aesthetic that feels like a true home rather than temporary housing. Located in one of North Seattle's most desirable residential neighborhoods, the apartment is just minutes from the University of Washington, Seattle Children's Hospital, Green Lake, and the Link Light Rail, providing easy access to downtown, South Lake Union, and the region's leading research and medical institutions. The fully furnished two-bedroom apartment includes a dedicated workspace, high-speed Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen, in-unit washer and dryer, and a private patio with a BBQ—ideal for scholars, visiting faculty, medical professionals, researchers, or anyone relocating to Seattle for an extended stay. Free street parking and a quiet neighborhood make it easy to settle in and focus on work or study while enjoying everything Seattle has to offer. Whether you're spending a semester teaching, conducting research, completing a medical fellowship, or working on a creative masterpiece, our goal is to provide a comfortable, beautifully designed retreat where you can feel at home from the day you arrive. Good to Know: Garden-level apartment: This is a private, self-contained garden-level ADU located beneath our family home. We live upstairs: We are a quiet couple with a small, friendly dog who live in the main house above. As with most homes that have an upstairs living space, you may occasionally hear footsteps or everyday household sounds. Private entrance & outdoor space: The apartment has its own completely separate entrance and private patio. You'll have your own space throughout your stay. Neighborhood sounds: While Maple Leaf is a quiet residential neighborhood, the home is located near a somewhat busy road. Most guests find the convenience worth the tradeoff, but light traffic noise may be noticeable, particularly outdoors or for very light sleepers. We do provide a sound machine which we find works wonders. Ideal Guests: Our apartment is best suited for a single occupant, a couple, or two roommates seeking a comfortable, fully furnished home for an extended stay. The second room is furnished as a dedicated office with a pull-out sofa, making it ideal for guests who need a workspace. If preferred, we're happy to replace the sofa with a full-size bed before your arrival, allowing the space to function as a true second bedroom for roommates or additional guests. Long-term comfort: We've designed the apartment for extended stays and strive to provide a comfortable, peaceful home base. If there's anything we can do to make your stay more enjoyable, we're happy to help.
