Quiet secluded LAKEFRONT home commutable to major universities

Joslin lake is a nearly 200acre spring fed all-sports public access lake. It is off the beaten track and therefore tends to have much less boat traffic than neighboring lakes. All of this makes it great for fishing, kayaking, canoeing, paddle-boating, or just sitting by the water and reading or working. Our home has 50 feet of lake frontage on a well-maintained sea wall. There is a seasonal dock as well as a fire pit and access to kayaks and canoes. Life jackets provided. Motor vehicles of all types are allowed on the lake in summer and winter but the atmosphere is still very relaxed and usually quiet. This is the perfect spot to 'get away' from the hustle and bustle of Southeast Michigan yet close enough to be engaged in the University or City life. Local Attractions: Joslin Lake is in Gregory, MI. The town of Gregory is 8 minutes away and has the closest grocery store (Gregory Market) as well as a gas station and some local dining establishments. Closer is the Unadilla General Store (~1 mile away) which is a well-stocked gas-station and convenience store. The closest supermarket is Busch’s Fresh Food Market in Pinckney, MI which is 17 minutes away. Joslin lake is ~20 minutes from Chelsea, MI, which has the closest hospital as well as some exceptional restaurants. It is also home to the Purple Rose Theater, a local theater owned and operated by local acting legend Jeff Daniels. We would highly recommend taking in a show if scheduling and time allows. Joslin lake is about 35 minutes from each of the big cities of Ann Arbor, Brighton, and Howell, MI. We encourage you to explore the area and the various hiking trails, small towns, farmer’s markets, art fairs, car shows, and other cultural events that happen year-round.
