Description

THE HOUSE The main floor is open-concept. The entry vestibule leads into a livingroom and the dining area, followed by the kitchen and a second living area/TV lounge with floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding doors to the backyard. The kitchen is well-equipped with a 5 pit gas stove/electric oven, a dishwasher and lots of counter space, pots and dishes. Most guests are drawn to sit and socialize at the 10 foot long island while they watch someone else cook! The second floor has 3 bedrooms: with a queen size bed, a double bed and a single bed, and a full bathroom. The upstairs bathroom features a glass shower stall, a granite countertop and large mirror. A second bathroom with a 6 foot tub/shower is in the finished basement. The main bedroom boasts floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding doors which open to a small balcony overlooking the backyard. A walk-in closet provides a private space for dressing as well as the washer and dryer. Large windows, ceiling fans and a skylight keep the house bright and airy. We have a gas furnace that heats the whole house and a heat pump system which provides air conditioning in the summer and heat in the winter. We have high speed internet, wifi and two TV's with Bell Fibe, and the whole house is wired with CAT-5. We can add additional desks in each room if needed. The dining room table can be extended to seat 12. Exterior: The front porch is sunny and secluded. The front yard is all low maintenance garden/no grass. The backyard is enclosed by a fence and features a spacious 14’ x14' deck sheltered by a 30 year old wisteria vine; with patio table, 6 chairs and a string of lights for a cosy evening retreat.
